Hi folks, I've had an iPhone (11 Pro Max) freeze and "black screen" event that I have partially fixed but am stuck with an issue. I plugged the phone into my Mac and it showed up in "recovery" mode. By hook and by crook I managed to get it to do an update to IOS 18.6.2. The phone works but still with the black screen, however, my prioroty is to get a back up of this phone in case I need to replace it. Because I can't see the screen the IOS update setup is incomplete, so although I can get the phone to show up properly on the Mac, when I click "Back Up Now" I get a "Could not Back Up the iPhone"Xxxx Xxxx" because it has not been set up" message. I did get past the "Hello" screen and accepted the T's & C's, but the face ID etc. was too much to do by guesswork. Does anyone have any ideas how to get around this?
