A month ago I was driving in a car when suddenly my main camera lenses on my iPhone 14 Pro broke. I didn’t drop it, didn’t touch it. It just broke. Thankfully it didn’t break out but I figured out it will pretty soon. Now, a month later, the camera lenses are still holding together. And somehow, they don’t even affect the pictures I get now from taking them. But now I have a basic question: should I get a repair for the lens? I heard that if you don’t repair it, it will shade the camera sensor (or whatever that bubble thing inside is called) or some glass shards could get stuck inside and it will be impossible to get them out. So what do I do? Do I risk it and leave it as long as it's able to hold itself or do I repair it immediately? submitted by /u/eemilsmikelsonss |
