Hi Y’all!’ Sets YouTube Premiere Date

EXCLUSIVE: Comedian Jessica Michelle Singleton is set to unveil her first hour-long comedy special, Hi Y’all!, on YouTube later this week.

The special, filmed live in New Orleans, debuts on the platform this Thursday, October 30 at 11 a.m. PT. Billed as a love letter to Singleton’s chaotic early childhood years in the South — before heading north to the Last Frontier — the hour also explores religion, family, and all the weirdness (read: trauma) that made her the comedian she is today.

What Singleton is unveiling, more specifically, is a never-before-seen “comedian’s cut” of Hi Y’all!, which she had previously been hosting exclusively on PunchUp Live. Check out a trailer above.

Known for her high-energy, brutally honest, and always playful performances, Singleton is a paid regular at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles whose two Don’t Tell Comedy sets have garnered millions of views across platforms. A three-time panelist on Kill Tony alongside Tony Hinchcliffe, she’s also released multiple comedy albums, including Horny for Death, which debuted at #1 on iTunes and Amazon ahead of Bo Burnham.

Singleton has toured with top comics including Tom Segura, Mark Normand, Bobby Lee, Bert Kreischer, Ari Shaffir, Theo Von, Hannah Berner, Jessica Kirson, Melissa Villaseñor, and Steph Tolev. She can also be seen in Iliza’s Locals, a stand-up series produced by Iliza Shlesinger for Prime Video.

Upcoming in film, Singleton will appear in the comedy Busboys opposite Theo Von and David Spade, as well as the horror feature Big Baby opposite Krsy Fox. She is repped by Mosaic.
