Apple TV has revealed the premiere date for its upcoming thriller series starring Tatiana Maslany, releasing new images ahead of the debut. The She-Hulk star leads the project, which blends mystery, dark comedy, and crime.
Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed release date set for new Apple TV show
Apple TV will premiere its new series Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed on May 20, 2026. The platform will release the first two episodes on that day, then continue with weekly episodes every Wednesday through July 15, 2026. The season includes 10 half-hour episodes.
Apple TV confirmed the release date on February 4 via X, stating: “#MaximumPleasureGuaranteed. Coming May 20 to Apple TV.” The announcement included first-look images of Tatiana Maslany as Paula, holding a hockey stick, alongside cast members such as Jake Johnson, Nola Wallace, and Murray Bartlett.
The dark comedy thriller follows newly divorced mom Paula (Tatiana Maslany) as she becomes entangled in blackmail, murder, and youth soccer. Paula believes she has witnessed a crime and begins an investigation. Her efforts may expose a larger conspiracy and help her restore her family and sense of self.
Jake Johnson plays Paula’s ex-husband Karl. Jessy Hodges appears as Mallory, Karl’s new wife and a sharp lawyer. Jon Michael Hill portrays Detective Baxter. Nola Wallace plays Hazel, Paula and Karl’s young daughter. Additional cast members include Brandon Flynn, Murray Bartlett, Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg, and Charlie Hall. Dolly De Leon and several other supporting actors also join the series.
David J. Rosen created and wrote the series and serves as its showrunner and executive producer. David Gordon Green directed the series and also executive produces. Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon developed the project for Genre Films under their first-look deal with Apple TV, along with Bard Dorros for Anonymous Content. Apple Studios and Counterpart Studios produce the series.
