After recent teasers, vivo has finally confirmed the launch date for the V70 series in India. The vivo V70 Elite will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, while the standard V70 will get a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.

The vivo V70 and V70 Elite are scheduled to launch in India on February 19. Ahead of the launch, vivo has revealed most of the key specs of both phones.

Both smartphones will sport a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate.

They will both offer a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a 50MP IMX766 primary rear camera. The handsets are also confirmed to offer a 50MP selfie camera.

vivo V70 Elite (Authentic Black) and V70 (Passion Red)

The vivo V70 lineup will come with a 6,500mAh battery that will support 90W wired fast charging. Both devices will also offer an IP69 rating, a metal frame, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and slim display bezels.

The V70 and V70 Elite will run Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and are promised to get 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches.
