Kim Woodburn, the television personality best known for co-hosting How Clean Is Your House on Channel 4, has passed away at the age of 83. Her death was confirmed by her manager in a statement issued to the BBC.

They stated, “It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness.” The statement described Woodburn as “an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic, and strong person,” and added that “her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate.” The family has asked for privacy as they grieve her loss.

Her death was also confirmed in a post on her official Instagram, where her husband wrote, “My wonderful, beautiful Kim passed away last night. God bless, my love.” The post also featured a collection of Woodburn’s photos from different stages of her life and career.

Tributes have continued to flood in online, with many remembering her legacy. Liverpool radio host Pete Price posted on X, “You loved or hated this larger than life character. I loved her.”

Woodburn rose to fame in the early 2000s after being paired with Aggie MacKenzie on How Clean Is Your House. The show became a long-running success, airing for six seasons between 2003 and 2009. It made Woodburn a recognizable figure on British television. 

In the years that followed, Woodburn became a familiar presence on daytime talk shows like Loose Women and This Morning. She made headlines again in 2017 due to her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother. Her other high-profile television appearances included a stint on the ninth season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2009, where she finished as the runner-up to Gino D’Acampo.
