Xbox recently announced that it’s officially launched a public preview of its redesigned web interface for Xbox Cloud Gaming, which according to the company will serve as a foundation for more rapid feature development while giving players a more modernized design.

Starting today, we’re testing a refreshed web experience for Xbox Cloud Gaming that lays the foundation for accelerating our ability to build new experiences for players. This preview is a first look at our new web interface on your browser and lets you try the updated design and product flow before it is rolled out broadly.

The new interface comes with updated navigation features alongside a completely new look and feel. As it is a preliminary testing phase, Microsoft clarifies that some functions may behave differently than they do in the current version or may be temporarily unavailable as the team continues to iterate based on user feedback.

Players interested in testing the new interface can opt in by visiting the standard Xbox Play website via a compatible browser and signing in to their account. Once logged in, users can then head on to the settings menu and enable the “Preview Features” toggle, after which prompts will appear to guide players into the new experience. Alternatively, users who have enabled the toggle can access the update directly by navigating to a new dedicated URL at play.xbox.com.

Microsoft confirmed that the current web experience remains fully accessible, and players can revert to the standard interface at any time by returning to the original web address.
